Absolutely, there are several campgrounds along the Chinook Scenic Byway. Those spots can be reserved online ahead of time and occasionally you can find one available on a whim. Primitive camping is allowed in the National Forest as well. Stop into Wapiti and we can point you in the right direction.
No, tickets to ride the gondola can be purchased either in person or on the Crystal Mountain Resort website.

Yes we do. However, firewood is only for sale when campfires are safe and permitted in the forest. Our firewood is sold in large bundles and is split and seasoned for a minimum of 2 years. We got the good stuff!
Wapiti is a Native American word for elk. Specifically it translates to “white rump”. If you have ever seen an elk, you will understand. Fun fact, there are probably more elk in our little town than people. Drive slow and keep an eye out for them.

Yes, we have several choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We have a few pizza choices and delicious burritos and tamales made fresh. You gotta try these burritos. They are soooo good. Don’t forget the huckleberry milkshake!

Marked service dogs are always welcome. However, personal pets will need to remain outside. We have several nice open areas surrounding the store for our furry friends. They must remain under leash for their own safety and for the safety of others.

Our return policy is quite simple. We issue full refunds on items that are unused and still have all of the original tags attached up to 30 days with a receipt. All sales on discounted items are final. We are happy to refund your money back onto your credit card or issue a gift card.
