Since the early 1950's, this landmark has been a popular stopping place for travelers and explorers that are visiting Mount Rainier National Park and Crystal Mountain Ski Resort. I have stopped at Wapiti several times a year for several years now . We stop for a shake or my favorite, an Orange Creamsicle Smoothie! Wapiti also has great souvenirs and some outdoor gear. A great place to chill out after a day of hiking or skiing!

This was a great little stop , gift shop and coffee/ice cream Cafe. Surprisingly these folks were welcoming and very nice ...sometimes when out touring you can run into grumpy folks ...not the case here in this shop which was so nice , I actually wanted to spend some money ..lol...
